An act of vandalism carried out at a cemetery in South East Clare has been described as ‘disgusting’ and ‘an act of sacrelige’
Three headstones at Kilquane Cemetery in Parteen have been smashed and toppled over – it’s believed youths may be responsible.
The Kilquane Cemetery Committee have held meetings with local representatives while Gardai are investigating the matter.
