Emergency services, including the Killaloe Goast Guard Unit, have rescued a walker who collapsed while walking on a hill in Co. Tipperary.
The unit were tasked to the scene after 9 o’clock last night, along with Gardaí and an ambulance from Scariff.
Due to the very low cloud cover at the time, it was not possible to for a Rescue helicopter to respond to the incident and the casualty was helped by members of the public before the rescue personnel arrived.
