There’s a warning today about the number of Irish adults hoping to live on the state pension alone when they retire.
A study by Amárach research questioned a thousand people and found a third of them plan to use it as their only source of income in later years.

Nearly 40 per cent will use a combination of state and private pensions, while a fifth don’t know how they’ll fund their retirement.
