The Head of Clare’s Garda Traffic Corp is appealing to motorists to make sure they don’t become another road crash statistic this weekend.
The fine weather, along with the extra day’s holiday will ensure a huge influx of visitors into the county over the coming days, while many natives will be holidaying away.
Gardai will be out in force cracking down on drunk and dangerous drivers as well as the speeding and illegal use of hand held mobiles while behind the wheel.
