Cabinet ministers will sign off on the plan for water charges at today's weekly meeting.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny confirmed this morning that agreement had been reached between the coalition parties, three weeks after another meeting ended in disarray over the issue.

It's expected the final scheme will drop a proposed standing charge, certain homes will get a larger free allowance than others, and average bills will come in at around €240 a year.
