An Oireachtas committee, set up to examine the future of water charges, is likely to recommend the issuing of refunds to households that have paid their bills to date.
The finishing touches are being put to a report from the committee of TDs that’s examining how to fund water services, which will be put to a Dail vote next month.
There could be a refund on the cards for people who paid water bills.
