Clare County Council will continue to make repairs in an effort to restore full water supply to all areas of the county today
Restrictions look set to continue over the coming days as workers attempt to deal with burst and leaking pipes; dozens of areas in Clare are into their second week without a full supply of water to their homes.
Water tankers and standpipes remain in place in Ennis, Clarecastle, Shannon, Cratloe, Ennistymon and Lahinch and water will be cut off in many areas between 8pm and 8am.

The local authority says that with the exception of some isolated cases, full supply should be restored in the next couple of days.
