Met Eireann says strong winds will continue to hit Clare until late afternoon.

Gardai aare also advising care along the M18 Ennis/ Galway Rd, which was closed for a time this morning between J15 Crusheen and J16 Gort following a heavy sleet shower and a two-car accident.
