A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Clare and four other counties along the west coast.
Met Éireann is forecasting winds of up to 65 kilometres per hour and gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour this evening and tonight.
The warning, which also covers Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Donegal is in place from five o’clock this evening, until midday tomorrow.
