A status yellow wind warning for Clare and 13 other counties comes into effect from tonight.
It will be in place for Munster, Galway, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Sligo, Mayo and Donegal from 9pm until 6am tomorrow morning.
Winds could reach gusts of up to 110 kilometers per hour according to Met Eireann.
