Clare tourism groups are welcoming Continental’s decision to expand its services at Shannon Airport.
The US Airline is now operating 11 weekly flights from the Mid West Airport to Newark International Airport -bringing an extra 20 thousand seats in the market this summer.
Continental says the presence of pre clearance facilities at Shannon was a big factor in their decision to increase services.
