There's been a broad welcome for Clare's latest Live Register figures which show that almost 650 people left the dole queues in September.
It represents a 14% drop in the number of people claiming some form of unemployment benefit compared to this time last year.

But with September traditionally seeing people return to education, concern has been raised over whether the downward trend will continue over the coming months.
