A senior government minister is urging all sides in the Element Six dispute to enter talks at the LRC without any preconditions.
Willie O Dea’s warned dialogue was the only method by which jobs could be saved at the Shannon plant and that negotiations at the Labour Relations Commision must take place without delay.
The dispute between managment and unions centres on the redundancy package being offered to 370 workers as part of a rescue plan to save 163 of the jobs
