A 48 year old window cleaner has been shot dead in a gun attack in Ballymun in north Dublin.
Witnesses reported hearing up to six shots fired on Gateway Avenue around 8.45 this morning, before the lone gunman left the scene.

The victim – a father of one – who was on his bike at the time was taken to the Mater Hospital but was pronounced dead.
A forensic examination is underway at the scene, and Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
He's not thought to have been previously known to Gardai.
