Visiting restrictions have been lifted at the region's main hospital.
A suspected outbreak of the winter vomiting bug had seen the restrictions put in place at University Hospital Limerick twelve days ago, but the HSE announced last night that normal arrangements are now back in place.

The Executive is reminding the public that visiting hours are strictly 2-4pm and 6.30-8.30pm.
