Visiting restrictions are in place at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick again due to an escalation of the winter vomiting bug.

Visiting is restricted to critically ill patients only in wards: 3A, 3B, 4C and the Trauma Ward.
Strict Visiting times to be adhered to for all other areas of the hospital- 1.30-3.30pm and 6.30-8.30pm.
One visitor per patient is permitted and visitors’ will not be allowed to visit outside these times while Children under fourteen, should not visit the hospital
