Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a shop in Ennis last night.
A man entered Hogan's shop at Claureen on the Lahinch Road around 10.20pm brandishing what appeared to be a short firearm.

He intimidated staff, forcing them to hand over the contents of the till, following which he fled on foot in the direction of Shanaway Road.
