An elderly woman has been taken to University Hospital Limerick following a dog attack in Ennis this morning.
It's understood the Collie had been tied up at the Market area and became agitated.

He lunged at two people and bit a woman – at this stage its not known how serious her injuries are.
Clare ISPCA has taken the animal into custody.
