Mary McDonnell lives in the same apartment complex where last Tuesday’s shooting took place.

She was arrested last week, and charged yesterday evening with withholding information from investigating Gardai.

Gareth Hutch, who’s 35 and a nephew of Gerry “The Monk” Hutch, died after being shot in the car park outside his flat last Tuesday morning.

CCTV footage emerged afterwards that shows two men approaching the father of one while he’s getting into his car.

A number of people have since been arrested but Ms. McDonnell is the first person to be charged as part of the investigation.

There was no application for bail this morning and she was remanded in custody for a week.

Two others are still being held for questioning.
