Gardaí searching for missing Ennis woman Evelyn Vaughan have recovered a body .
The woman’s remains, which gardaí say are that of the 48 year old – were discovered in the water near the Railway Bridge in Clare’s County Town at around 10 o’clock this morning

It follows several days of intensive searches by Gardaí and members of the Clare Civil Defence and her body was taken from the water by members of the Killaloe/Ballina Search and Recovery Unit.
Gardaí are not treating her death as suspicious and her remains have now been taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where a post-mortem will be carried out.
