The developer of a supermarket in Miltown Malbay, which it’s hoped will create up to 150 jobs in the community, hopes to begin work on the development later this summer.
Local businessman John Jones has been granted permission by An Bord Pleanala to proceed with the project which had already received the green light by Clare County Council.
It’s expected that the 4 million euro development will lead to the creation of 70 jobs during construction and a further 50 full- and part-time positions upon it’s opening due for late next year
