Union officals representing workers at Shannon airport are set to meet Aer Lingus management over plans to transfer its maintenance operations from the the Mid West to Dublin.
Upto 70 staff are set to be affected by the possible move which was agreed by the board of Aer Lingus at its Agm earlier this month.
Workers agreed last night to fight any possible reduction of operations at Shannon with UNITE, Siptu and the TEEU hoping to meet with management early next week.

Brian Gormley, Unite Regional Officer told Clare FM they will wait until a meeting with managment to decide on their future course of action :
