It comes as Bus Éireann has announced predicted losses of 8 million euro for 2016, with its acting CEO Ray Hernan warning that the company could be insolvent within 18 months.
 
The future of its Expressway service, which operates between the likes of Galway, Ennis, Shannon Airport and Limerick is now in doubt, though it's other services, which are supported by the Government are not under threat.
