Worshipping With One Hand Behind Our Back Says Local Church of Ireland Communications Officer

The Communications Officer for the Church of Ireland Diocese of Limerick, Killaloe and Ardfert claims there isn’t an appreciation of the importance of singing during worship.

The roadmap for re-opening society announced by the Government last month will see an expansive lifting of restrictions, with final measures to be eased on October 23rd.

But as things stand, singing during worship remains restricted, with the HSE advising that it raises the risk of airborne transmission of the virus.
