12th of January 2021, peacefully in UCHG surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Michael and Bridget, sister Margaret and brother John.
Bridget will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Peter. A loving and devoted mother she is sadly missed by her children Joan, Geraldine, Yvonne, Deirdre and Francis, daughter-in-law Jackie, sons-in-law Robert, Gary and Phil. Always a loving grandmother to Laura, Rachel, Aaron, Aoife, Sean, Eimear, Tori and Deena. Bridget is deeply mourned by her sisters Maureen, Sr. Kathleen, Imelda and brother Paddy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and her big circle of Friends.

In accordance with government guidelines and public restrictions regarding public gatherings, a private funeral for Bridget will take place on Friday 15th of January at 12 noon in St. Teresa’s Church Labane, followed by burial afterwards in Castledaly Cemetery. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to Galway Hospice Foundation and Gort Cancer Support Centre.
Bridgets funeral cortege will leave her residence at 11.10am approx and travel via Coxtown to St. Teresa’s Church Labane. Following funeral Mass, cortege will then travel via Grannagh to Castledaly cemetery.
To all the wonderful, inconsolable staff in The Little Flower Nursing Home who made her so happy, she loved each and every one of you like her own. A special thanks to you the nurses and doctors in St. Joseph’s Ward, UHG and Dr. Richard Joyce, Dr. Crea Gallagher and Dr. Dearbhla Fadden from Gort Medical Centre.
