Beagh, Gort, Co. Galway. Peacefully at Rosemount House Nursing Home, Gort, on July 1st 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary and by his sister Maureen Quinn (Labane). Dearly loved father of Olive and Cathal. Fondly remembered by his son in – law Aidan and daughter in – law Siobháin. Cherished grandfather of Darragh, Aoife, Caitlín, Caoimhe, Leah and Cian. Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Birdie Duffy (Mayo), Catherine Hanly (Leitrim), Eileen Morris (Dublin) and Carmel Fordham (Kilbeacanty), brothers in – law, nephews, nieces, cousins, wonderful neighbours, loyal friends and by the extended Duffy families.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Due to current restrictions to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, Michael’s funeral will be held in private, in line with current restrictions. Private Requiem Mass will take place in St. Columba’s Church Kilbeacanty on Saturday, 3rd of July at 1.30 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Rakerin cemetery. Please note the funeral cortège will arrive at the church at 1.15 approx.
