Peacefully at Kilrush Community Hospital in his 98th year.
Reposing at his daughter Imy's house, Cooraclare, on Monday from 4pm with removal at 7pm to St Senans Church Knockerra.
Funeral mass on Tuesday at 11am with burial afterwards in Clohanes Cemetery.
