The EPA’s air monitoring station in Ennis has recently recorded a spike in Sulphur Dioxide and particulates in the air in Ennis. It is currently the most polluted part of Ireland by a wide margin.
Between the beginning of this month and November 4th, the amount of pollutants in the air increased by more than five times, including a sharp spike in the evening hours.
