Today on Morning Focus, Eimear Murphy of Obair joined us on the line to discuss a Community Forum which took place in Newmarket on Fergus yesterday evening.
The meeting, for all residents and citizens of Newmarket on Fergus, took place in the Community Centre yesterday evening. One of the topics on the agenda was the situation regarding a GP in Newmarket on Fergus. The meeting was open to all members of the community, Eimear who co-ordinates Meals on Wheels joined us on the line to discuss how the meeting went. Other topics on the agenda included the Lack of a Garda presence/Redundant Garda Station and the lack of basic services, amenities and facilities, particularly in the Main Street of Newmarket on Fergus
