A Very Different St Brigid’s Day

Today is February 1st – also known as St. Brigid’s Day.

Traditionally, people would flock to St. Brigid’s Well in Liscannor to celebrate St. Brigid, one of Ireland’s patron saints.

While, this is a very different St. Brigid’s Day due to Covid-19, Catríona Considine from Moher Cottage and Lahinch’s Trish Flanagan spoke to Gavin Grace about the traditions that are being missed out on and the celebrations we can still take part in today.
