Ennis has been ranked third in the country in the latest anti-litter league survey.
Two years ago, the town had dropped from the top spot to 22nd in the IBAL survey, but has since reclaimed a high position.

A total of 37 towns and cities were surveyed, with Ennis being one of only four towns deemed to be cleaner than European norms.
