Clare Divisional Garda Chief Superintendent Michael Gubbins joined Gavin on Tuesdays Morning Focus to discuss the ‘ring of steel’ surrounding the village of Doonbeg, ahead of the visit on Wednesday (June 5) of the US President.
The Irish Independent reported this week that around 1,000 Gardai are to be assigned to Clare and Limerick over the course of this week.
