It has been reported that the entire country is most likely suffering from a severe lack of sunshine and, as a result, Vitamin D.
Donegal-based Dr. Martin Coyne investigated the high number of people suffering with osteoporosis there. Out of 10,000 tests he found 75% of people had insufficient levels of Vitamin D, while 12% had extremely low levels; and he says that situation is similar across the country.
