The Quin Taekwondo Club are heading to Slovenia for the European Championships next week (April 9) and once again 5 of the club will be part of the national team.
In the meantime the Irish Taekwondo Association hosted the World Championships last October in City-west.

Stephen was the main organiser of the event which saw over 1000 athletes from 52 countries compete.
Team Ireland finished in 1st place with the Super 7 from Quin featuring strongly in the medal haul.
Stephen Ryan, Head coach at Quin Taekwondo Club, and Head coach of Team Ireland, joined Gavin in studio.
He brought club members, Luke Moriarty, Shane Tuite, Alice Larkin, Katelyn Heihir, and James Tuite, with him to chat about their hopes for the championships also.
