Ballyea & Cratloe Gear Up For 2018 Clare SHC Final

Ballyea manager Kevin Sheehan says he’s enjoyed the switch from the goal line to the sideline as they look forward to the 2018 Clare Senior Hurling Final.

Cratloe provide the opposition in Sunday’s decider as they bid to end a four year wait since they were last crowned champions.

Ballyea last took home the Canon in 2016 when Sheehan was man in the number one jersey before he opted to fill the managerial role earlier this year.

He says players and management alike have all bought into their plans.

Meanwhile one of Cratloe’s key men says they’ve moved on from their football disappointment as they look forward to Sunday’s decider.

Defeat against Miltown ended hopes of another dream double with thoughts now firmly fixed on regaining top spot in the hurling standings.

Defender Liam Markham says everyone has refocused quickly and they’re ready for the battle ahead.

Throw in on Sunday in Cusack Park is at 3.30 with live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Costello Estate Agents Ennis.
