Battle Ahead In Clare Senior Football Championship Final

The two most dominant teams in the Clare Senior Football Championship this decade will battle it out this weekend to be crowned 2016 champions.

Kilmurry Ibrickane and Cratloe have claimed two titles each since 2011, with the Bricks winning back to back crowns before Colm Collins men did likewise.

Kilmurry's Johnny Daly is bidding to win his seventh title overall, and says not having Jack Daly in the parish since 2012 is something they're eager to put right.

For Cratloe meanwhile, the focus has had to change quickly following their exit from the hurling championship at the semi final stage last weekend.

They will be without Conor McGrath for the game after he suffered a shoulder injury, while Conor Ryan also remains an injury concern.

2013 All Ireland winner with Donegal Anton McFadden is in his first year with the club, he says he's been impressed with the standard he has seen so far

Throw in on Sunday in Cusack Park is at 3.30pm, live commentary here on Clare FM
