Battle for Quarter Final Spot in Clare Club Hurling

There is plenty at stake in this weekend's Clare Senior Hurling Championship action, with many clubs knowing their fate will be decided over the next two days.

Four sides – Ballyea and Inagh/Kilnamona, and Broadford and O'Callaghans Mills – go head-to-head in a Cusack Park double-header tomorrow in what are effectively knockout ties with places in the Quarter-Finals at stake.

In a number of other games, though, teams will be looking to fight their way out of relegation battles, most notably in the match involving the defending champions.

Less than a year after they lifted the Canon Hamilton, Sixmilebridge take on Kilmaley knowing a third loss this year would endanger their Senior status.
