Bridge United will play First Division Football in the Clare District Soccer League next year, after they were beaten in the Premier Division League Relegation Play-Off last night.
They were beaten 3-1 by Bridge Celtic in Shannon.
United had beaten their near neighbours on Wednesday evening last to set up the play-off, but could not repeat the feat last night and now find themselves relegated.

Bridge Celtic will now take on Mountshannon Celtic in a play-off – the winners of that one will play in the Premier Division next season.
