Clare man Chris Bryan feels that the disappointment of missing out on the Olympics in 2012 and battling back from illness has made him mentally and physically stronger.
The 22 year old enjoyed success in the 10k Portugal Open Water Nationals on Saturday,fishing 90 seconds ahead of his closest rival.

The Ennis man is set to have a busy summer as he travels to Kazan for the World University Games and then Barcelona again for the World Swimming Championships both in July.
