Both of those games take place in Clarecastle.

Less than a year after they lifted the Canon Hamilton, Sixmilebridge take on Kilmaley knowing a third loss this year would endanger their Senior status.

Later Ballyea and Inagh/Kilnamona, and Broadford and O'Callaghans Mills – go head-to-head in a Cusack Park double-header this evening.

Ballyea are planning without the services of Gary Brennan in Saturday's crunch Championship clash against Inagh/Kilnamona.

The Clare football captain picked up a dead leg while playing for Clondegad in the football competition this past weekend, and is a major doubt for the game at Cusack Park.

Taking a look now at last night's minor hurling action.

In the A section round 5

Wolfe Tones won out over Ballyea the final score 2-18 to 12pts.

It was a draw between Feakle/Killanena and Inagh Kilnamona 1-11 for both sides there.

Clonlara scored 3-20 over Clarecastles 2-11.

And Eire Og came out on top over Sixmilebridge 2-12 to 1-10 the final score there.

In Minor B action also round 5.

O'Callaghan's Mills proved too strong for Ennistymon 5-19 to 11 pts the score at full time there.

While Cratloe came home the victor two points ahead of Cloney Quin it finished 2-14 to 2-10 there.
