Clare’s Tony Butler has been signed to the Munster Rugby Academy.
The Doora Barefield man joins fellow parishoner Ethan Coughlan in the Greencore Academy, having progressed through the Youths system.
The former Ennis RFC player has also had an impressive start to life in the AIL with Garryowen, scoring 40 points in four games.
Butler previously represented Clare’s hurlers at minor level and was part of the Harty Cup winning St Flannan’s squad last year.
