A former chairman of the Clare Schoolboys Soccer League feels an amalgamation of the juvenile and adult committees needs to be considered to secure the long term future of the game in Clare.
It comes as a meeting is expected to be held this weekend in an effort to find a new interim committee to run the CSSL following the mass resignation of the outgoing group in recent weeks.
Fears had been expressed that the administrative issues would lead to a summer without soccer for underage players in Clare, but it is hoped that scenario can be avoided.
