Clare’s Munster Hurling League Campaign has ended after defeat to Limerick.
The 2019 winners were overwhelmed by a strong start by the Shannondiders who, at one point, managed eight points unanswered – although there was only three points seperating the teams at half time.
It eventually finished 1-27 to 1-19 to Limerick – with the Banner left preparing for a National League encounter with Carlow in Ennis in three weeks, while Limerick meet Cork in the Munster final next weekend.
