Chelsea secure top group spot after Valentia win

Chelsea manager Andre Villas Boas is pleased with his side following last nights 3-0 win over Valencia at Stamford Bridge.

Didier Drogba scored in either half while Ramires found the net in the 22nd minute to hand the Blues victory and top spot in Group F as Bayer Leverkusen could only manage a 1-all draw with Genk.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says his teams inexperience cost them in last nights 3-1 loss to Olympiakos in Greece, the result didn’t matter as the Gunners had already won the group.

Tonight Manchester United need at least a draw in Basel to go through to the last 16 while Manchester City must beat Bayern Munich and hope that Villareal can take points off Napoli.

The German side have already won the group.
