The Clare county board will make a decison later this week on which venue will host Clare’s opening game in this year’s national football league against Waterford.
Due to the inclement weather the county board is understood to have Henessy memorial park in Miltown Malbay at the ready if conditions worsen which may affect the pitch in Cusack Park.

Meanwhile Meelick has been announced as the venue for the Clare ladies football divison two league match with Fermanagh next Sunday.
Throw in is at 2pm.
