Clare have booked their place in the quarter finals of the Oscar Traynor Cup after a 2-0 win over Desmond League this evening.
Goals came in the 27th minute through Stephen Hickey, and the second just after the break from Captain David McCarthy.
Liam Murphy’s side top the group so are straight into the last eight, with Limerick finishing second ahead of Galway, they face an away game to Dublin in the last sixteen.
