Clare Cup To Resume

With the conclusion of the national hurling league its back to club action for the county’s  hurlers this weekend as the Clare cup continues.

This weekend sees a number of top games with county colegaues clashing across several divisons in the Clare Cup.

One of the ties of the weeknd will see two former county champions of recent years clash when Crusheen take on Clonlara – with both sides unbetaen so far this year.

Holders Newmarket-on-Fergus take on Cratloe while Clarecastle and Inagh-Kilnamona meet in the League before a summertime meeting in this year’s championship.

Following last week’s disappointmnet in the Under-21 Championship, Sixmilebridge will be hoping to gain their first win of the year this weekend when they take on Tulla.

Elsewhere, Clooney-Quin play Whitegate, Braodford meet O’Callaghans Mills, Kilmaley meet Tubber, Wolfe Tones take on Feakle, Eire Og meet Smith O’Briens while Ballyea take on St. Josephs.
