Clare have suffered a second loss of the National Hurling League after a 2-19 to 1-21 defeat against Wexford.
The dismissal of Liam Corry on a straight red card and two Wexford goals in the final quarter saw Davy Fitzgerald’s side pick up their second win of the campaign.

Clare also lost Tony Kelly to injury early on with the Ballyea man a doubt for next weekends trip to Laois.
The defeat means Clare’s chances of topping the division standings are now over.
