Clare Demolish Carlow for league final spot

 

Clare will play Limerick in Division two hurling league final in a fortnights time after their demolition of Carlow in Cusack Park by 4-28 to 8 points

Clare secured the necessary two points to seal their spot in the final thanks to goals from Colin Ryan, Jonathan Clancy and two from Diarmuid McMahon.

It is the second year in a row that Clare will be appearing in the final  and manager Ger O’ Loughlin is ready for a tough test

Meanwhile

The Dublin hurlers have qualified for their first final in the Allianz League in 65 years after an exciting final day in the group stages.

Anthony Daly’s men defeated Cork by 1-15 to 1-14, to beat Galway, Tipperary and Waterford to a place in the final.

The Dubs will have to play Kilkenny in the decider after the Cats eased to a 1-23 to 1-16 win over Offaly to finish top of the table.

Offaly were  relegated to Division Two after Wexford drew against  Tipperary at Semple Stadium.

Galway missed-out on a final appearance after a one-point defeat to Waterford.
