Clare’s Ailish Considine is officially a professional Women’s Australian Rules player.
The Kilmihil native has signed a rookie contract with Adelaide Crows after impressing during a trial camp as part of the Crosscoders initiative.

The dual star is one of 18 players from across the globe who travelled down under in search of a contract and she becomes the first international player to be signed by the Crows.
We caught up with Ailish after she signed her contract and first spoke to fellow Kilmihil native and Irish women’s AFL coach Michael Currane
